In the effort of fairness and transparency all teams are encouraged to study the competition resources provided below. Any questions can be directed to luminerescue@gmail.ca and subsequent answers will be provided on the FAQ page of this website as a resource for all teams. Please note additional resources may be added to this page at a later date. In the event of major changes, team will be individually notified however it is a good idea to check this page periodically for the most current resources.
The rules governing the 2026 IMERC competition were created by Laurentian University Mine Rescue in collaboration with Ontario Mine Rescue to provide an equal playing field for every competing team. All teams are expected to read and understand this document before competing in IMERC 2026. Please note the posted document is the most recent version as rules are subject to change.
